Nowadays biomarkers are not only used for detecting cancers. The typical cancer biomarkers can be produced by the cancer tissues itself or by other cells in your body in response to cancer. Cancer biomarkers can be found in blood, stools, urine, tumour tissues, body fluids or other tissues in your body.
